How ARCANE works on AR-15: ZERO, gas management, zero overgas
ARCANE for AR-15 (.223 / 7.62) manages impulse in stages: peak interception, cooling through titanium, ZERO - 5 stages / 8 channels, controlled exit. No marketing fluff.

The classic suppressor logic - hold the gas longer. The side effects are predictable: overheating, backpressure, smoke into the shooter's face, cycle instability. ARCANE works differently: gas is not held by force. It is guided through stages with controlled impulse.
ARCANE architecture: stage sequence
The design is not a "magic chamber" or a "magic filler". It is an energy management chain, where each stage does its own job.
How ZERO works: stages
1) Peak impulse interception. On a shot, the main problem is not "volume" but the peak impulse. In ARCANE it does not accumulate in the housing. The gas enters the primary labyrinth, which breaks up the flow and removes the impact energy right at the entry point.

2) Pre-braking and cooling. The flow then passes through a multi-channel system with sequential reversals. At each reversal the gas loses velocity, turbulence builds up, and part of the energy converts to heat. This is not a "chamber" - it is an energy dissipator.

3) ZERO: equalization and removal of residual impulse. At this stage the gas is already less aggressive. ZERO does not hold it by force. It stretches the impulse over time and equalizes the flow to a controlled state. 5 stages / 8 channels.

4) Controlled exit. The goal of the final stage is to prevent a sharp "fireball" at the muzzle. When gas exits slower and more uniformly, the sound becomes dull with no ring, and the exit jet softens.

Why ARCANE runs cooler
Overheating occurs where high pressure and sharp flow combine. In ARCANE, the hot and cooler zones are separated by material:
- Titanium - where maximum thermal shock and erosion load occur. Holds temperature without warping.
- Aluminum 7075-T6 - the housing. Acts as a heat exchanger, maintains rigidity at minimum weight.
- The outer surface of the housing increases the passive heat dissipation area.
Why there is no noticeable overgas
Overgas is a consequence of excess backpressure. In ARCANE pressure does not accumulate all at once, because energy is broken into stages: peak interception - braking - equalization - exit. Backpressure does not linger in the housing and does not push back into the upper receiver.
Why recoil feels different
Part of the flow energy works against the shot impulse - that is compensation. On the barrel: muzzle rise is more controlled, the grouping on rapid fire is more stable, the second accurate shot comes faster.

FAQ
- Will this work on my platform? Yes, but selection depends on caliber, configuration, and firing mode.
- Why don't you give "magic numbers"? Because what matters is the full picture: pressure, thermal regime, cycle stability, feel - not a single metric.
- Is it suitable for civilian use? Yes, in compliance with the legislation of your country.
