NEMESIS ARCANE Omen Suppressor: Compact Multi-Caliber Moderator with NODUS System
The compact brother of the flagship Arcane Internal: the same engineering school in a shorter body. We break down the NODUS gas system, specifications, calibers, and when Omen is the right choice and when Internal is better.

After the shot, the pressure in front of and behind the bullet is immense. The task of the suppressor is simple in words and complex in metal: to reduce this pressure to adequate levels without adding unnecessary weight and length to the firearm. NEMESIS ARCANE Omen solves this in the most compact body of the Arcane line - and does so not by sequentially slowing down the gas, but by having it collide with itself.
What is ARCANE Omen
Omen is the compact brother of the full-size flagship ARCANE Internal. The same engineering school, the same level of processing, but a shorter body and less weight for mobility and minimal increase in weapon length.
If Internal is the absolute silence for the heaviest calibers, then Omen is a premium compact for those who value weapon control: shorter extension, less weight on the muzzle, faster balance. You lose very little in suppression and gain a size that keeps the weapon maneuverable.
NODUS: Silence through Stream Collision
The main difference of Omen is hidden in the gas system NODUS. The name in Latin means "knot" - in wave physics, it is the point where opposing oscillations cancel each other out to zero. This is exactly what happens inside Omen.
Here’s how the gas moves after the shot:
- First link - reactive muzzle brake. The muzzle brake immediately redirects the main flow, just like in Arcane Internal.
- A small portion of the gases goes into 8 titanium chambers. They accumulate the pressure and energy of the shot and dissipate it using the principle of a hydraulic lock - Tesla's valve, where the gas blocks its own path.
- The main work is done on two gas masses. The first mass of the reactive muzzle brake is redirected in the opposite direction into the integrated chamber. Under pressure, the gas is forced through the primary cooler, collides with protrusions perpendicular to the flow, slows down, and continues through the drainage holes of the body. The second mass goes through a similar labyrinth closer to the middle of the suppressor.
- Collision. The two gas masses meet each other - and this is the final stage before exit. The meeting point of the streams gave the system its name.
The difference between the lines can be summed up in one line: the ZERO gas system in the older Arcane suppressors dissipates the shot through a sequence of stages, while NODUS in Omen does it through the collision of two streams.
An additional engineering gain is in the geometry of the main gas block. The channels in it are parallel to the axis of the suppressor and are blind, with gas transitioning from one to the next through annular grooves around the body. It goes "in a snake": axial channel, annular groove, next channel. This provides a lighter construction and a larger useful volume in a short body.

Calibers and Modularity
Omen is multi-caliber. The modular threaded block and muzzle brake set cover the range from .223 to .338, plus 9 mm for pistol cartridges. Threads are all common standards: 1/2-28, 5/8-24, 3/4-24, as well as metric 14×1, 15×1, 17×1, 18×1. One base - different barrels.
The quick-release mount is compatible with the Nexus platform, so the suppressor can be removed from one barrel and attached to another without tools. The variable integration of 5-85 mm allows you to find a balance between compactness and fit for specific firearms.
The entire Arcane line, including Omen, is fully disassemblable - it can be taken apart for cleaning and maintenance, rather than replaced entirely when fouling accumulates inside.
Omen or Internal: Which to Choose
Here we speak honestly, as this is the foundation of NEMESIS.
Choose Omen if your priority is mobility and size: intermediate calibers, shorter extension, less weight on the muzzle, a weapon that remains maneuverable.
Choose Internal if your priority is absolute silence with heavy calibers. Omen can physically be assembled for .338, but heavy magnums are better suited for the full-size Internal: the larger body volume gives it more space to work with gas.
Omen does not try to be quieter than Internal - it is more compact. This is a conscious engineering compromise, not a hidden flaw.
Who is it Suitable For
- Shooters who value weapon control and balance over the last decibel.
- Owners of several barrels of different calibers - one Omen on a quick-release mount services the entire collection.
- Those who want premium processing and full disassembly in a compact format.
Frequently Asked Questions
What calibers does ARCANE Omen handle?
From .223 to .338, plus 9 mm for pistol cartridges - through the modular threaded block and muzzle brake set. Omen can be assembled for .338, but heavy magnums are better suited for the full-size ARCANE Internal.
How does NODUS differ from ZERO?
ZERO in the older Arcane suppressors dissipates gas through a sequence of stages. NODUS in Omen splits the flow into two masses and collides them - the gas dissipates itself at the meeting point.
Is Omen quieter than Internal?
No. Omen is more compact, not quieter. With heavy calibers, Internal suppresses more effectively due to its larger body volume. Omen wins in size and weight.
Can it be disassembled?
Yes, completely. The entire Arcane line is disassemblable for cleaning and maintenance.
How much does ARCANE Omen weigh?
From 470 to 570 g depending on the length of integration.
