Purpose and Application

The short handguard "TS-175" is designed to replace the standard handguard of AK family carbines (AK-47, AK-74) / AKM. It provides increased rigidity to the front part of the weapon, improves ergonomics, and allows for the installation of additional equipment (grips, supports, lights, etc.) without the need for extra adapters thanks to the M-LOK interface.

Design and Features

  • The handguard consists of a body and an upper cover, which are connected by four posts.
  • The body has a solid machined base, rear mounting, and an adjustable crescent.
  • The adjustable crescent allows for precise fitting of the handguard to a specific carbine of this type.
  • The upper cover is made by machining from aluminum.
  • The cover is secured to the body via stainless steel threaded inserts, ensuring a long thread life and multiple assembly and disassembly without loss of reliability.
  • M-LOK interface for additional equipment.
