PURPOSE AND APPLICATION

The Magwell for quick magazine changes («AA-02.00.000») for the AK platform is designed to enhance the speed and stability of magazine changes on AK system rifles (AK-47, AKS, AKM, AKMS, AK-74, AKS-74). It provides a guiding function that centers the magazine during insertion, minimizing the possibility of misalignment and speeding up the loading process.

INSTALLATION

  • Disconnect the magazine from the weapon. Unscrew the retaining screw from the magwell extension.
  • Slide the magwell extension over the trigger guard cutout.
  • Position the magwell extension against the receiver and secure the extension hook over the front lip of the magwell by pushing it forward.
  • Attach the magazine and ensure that the extension does not interfere with magazine attachment/detachment.
  • Adjust the hook on the extension. Unscrew the screw that secures it and apply thread locker.
  • Secure the hook in the correct position and check the reliability of the attachment and absence of play.
  • Tighten the mounting screw on the other side of the extension.
