The handguard is designed for the AKS-74U (AKSU) - it replaces the factory handguard with no modifications required. It mounts directly to the carbine's standard attachment points.

Both the body and the top rail are CNC-machined from 7075 aluminium. Two finish options are available - anodizing or Cerakote - both providing corrosion and wear resistance.

Purpose and Application

The handguard for AKSU (art.5858 "Vepr") is designed to replace the standard handguard of the AK-74U. It provides increased rigidity to the front of the weapon, improves ergonomics, and allows for the installation of additional equipment.

Design and Features

  • The handguard consists of a body and an upper cover, which are connected by four supports.
  • The body has a solid machined aluminum base, rear mounting, and an adjustable crescent.
  • The adjustable crescent allows for precise attachment of the handguard to the carbine.
  • The upper cover is made by milling from aluminum.
  • The cover is secured to the body through stainless steel threaded inserts, ensuring a long thread life and multiple mounting and dismounting without loss of reliability.
  • M-LOK interface for additional equipment.
  • Comes with Picatinny rails: L63 mm - 1 pc, L80 mm - 2 pcs.
