Purpose and Application

The folding stock adapter for AKS / AKSU, 4.5 mm is designed for installation on civilian and service weapons of the AKS and AKSU platforms, equipped with a standard pin with a diameter of 4.5 mm.

Compatible with Skeleton, Telescopic, and Assault (Zig) type stocks, it allows for easy adaptation of the stock to the specific modification of the weapon, improving ergonomics, transport convenience, and functionality in field and operational conditions.

Design and Features

  • The folding hinge of the stock has a strong and rigid construction, designed for intensive use.
  • The hinge is fixed in two positions using two separate buttons, ensuring reliable fixation in both the unfolded and folded positions.
  • The design of the adapter is intended for use with a standard pin with a diameter of 4.5 mm, guaranteeing correct fit and compatibility with AKS / AKSU weapons.
  • A cup for mounting a quick-detach sling (QD) is provided on the hinge axis.
  • Two adjustment screws are located on the moving part of the hinge to eliminate play.
  • A adjustable metal plate is installed at the bottom of the hinge to secure the stock in the folded position.
