Vortex Spitfire HD Gen II - a prism scope with fixed 5x magnification, designed primarily for AR platform rifles in caliber 5.56/.223. Its compact body length of only 92 mm and weight of 292 g make it convenient for dynamic shooting in practical competitions or hunting in dense forests, where maneuverability is essential.
The AR-BDC4 reticle is etched directly on the prism, ensuring clarity even for shooters with astigmatism - unlike traditional tube scopes with reticles. The horizontal adjustment scale covers distances up to 594 m, and the illuminated central dot (12 brightness levels, 2 of which are compatible with night vision devices) allows for quick target acquisition in any lighting conditions.
The HD-series optics provide minimal chromatic aberrations and uniform sharpness across the entire field of view of 7.8 m at 100 m. The eye relief of 68.6 mm is comfortable for shooting with glasses or ballistic protection. The click value is 1 MOA with a correction range of 200 MOA both vertically and horizontally, providing ample zeroing range. The body is nitrogen-sealed and protected from moisture and dust, with a standard Weaver mount, available base heights of 27 and 42 mm for different rifle configurations.
This scope is suitable for practical shooting athletes looking for reliable optics for the AR platform without unnecessary weight, as well as hunters who need a quick first shot with the ability for precise adjustments at medium distances.
