Purpose and Application

The "Dovetail" is designed for mounting side brackets for optical sights and collimators on weapons that are not equipped with a standard side rail.

The dovetail for mounting a side bracket on the AK platform is fixed to the receiver using special screws. The design allows for installation without additional drilling of holes. To mount, it is sufficient to remove the standard trigger group pins and replace them with the included screws in the set.

It is used as a basic mounting element for further installation of side mounts of the "dovetail" type. It provides reliable and rigid fixation of the bracket with minimal play.

It is an optimal solution for modernizing AK family carbines without complex structural changes.
