Primary Arms SLx 1-6x24 Gen IV is a versatile optical scope for AR-15 rifles and similar platforms in calibers 5.56 and .308. The ACSS NOVA reticle is located in the second focal plane and features ballistic markings to compensate for bullet drop at various distances, simplifying accurate shots without manual calculations. The central point is illuminated via fiber optic wire, and 11 brightness levels (including 2 modes for night vision devices) allow comfortable operation in different lighting conditions.
The Gen IV optical system provides a wide field of view of 40 m at 100 m at 1x magnification, which is critical for fast targets at short distances, narrowing down to 6.7 m at 6x for confident long-range work. The 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum body with anodizing withstands impact loads, and nitrogen filling protects against lens fogging due to temperature changes. The click value is 0.1 MRAD and the adjustment range is 120/120 MOA, providing sufficient range for precise zeroing at various distances.
The scope is equipped with an integrated quick-release magnification adjustment lever and closed low-profile turrets, reducing the risk of accidental adjustments. The ring diameter is 30 mm, length is 264 mm, and weight is 507 g, making it a practical choice for 3-Gun type competitions or dynamic shooting, as well as for medium-range hunting where quick magnification adjustments are needed.
