Hawke Fast Mount 3-9x40 AO is an optical scope from the Fast Mount series, designed specifically for 4.5 mm caliber air rifles with a spring-piston mechanism (energy up to 39 J). The body is made of aviation aluminum T-6061 with a tube diameter of 1" (25.4 mm), which withstands the specific dual recoil of 'springers', while nitrogen filling and sealing prevent lens fogging in any weather.

The Mil-Dot reticle is engraved on the glass in the second focal plane: dots on the horizontal and vertical axes allow for distance estimation to the target and windage adjustments without changing magnification. To eliminate parallax at distances from 9 m to infinity, focusing on the objective (AO) is implemented - especially useful for shooting at close and medium-range targets. The value of one click adjustment is 0.75 cm (1/4 MOA) at 100 m, with a total adjustment range of 100/100 MOA.

The magnification of 3-9x and a 40 mm objective provide a field of view from 13 to 4.2 m at 100 m and an exit pupil of 4.4-13 mm - enough light for shooting in twilight or forest conditions. Multi-coated lenses enhance contrast and clarity of the image even in diffuse lighting. Included are 25.4 mm rings for Weaver base, so mounting on most air rifles with the appropriate rail does not require additional accessories.

This scope is suitable for sport shooters and hunters looking for a reliable optical device for air rifles without overpaying: a 24-month warranty and British quality from Hawke ensure confidence in long-term performance.
