Hawke Fast Mount 3-9x40 AO is an optical sight designed specifically for 4.5 mm caliber air rifles, particularly spring-piston types with a muzzle energy of up to 39 J. The construction withstands the specific 'double' recoil of air rifles that destroys standard sights. Included are 25.4 mm diameter rings for dovetail mounting, making the sight ready for installation without additional purchases.

The Mil-Dot reticle in the second focal plane remains unchanged in size at all magnifications, which is convenient for shooting at moving targets at short and medium distances. Parallax adjustment on the objective (AO) allows for a sharp image from 9 meters to infinity - especially important when shooting at common air rifle distances of 10-50 m. The click value is 1/4 MOA (0.75 cm at 100 m), ensuring precise zeroing.

The body is made of aviation aluminum T-6061, sealed, and filled with nitrogen - the lenses do not fog up even with temperature changes. The multi-coated optics improve contrast and clarity of the image under various lighting conditions. The sight is suitable for sport and recreational shooting with air rifles, as well as for hunting small game in regions where it is permitted by law.
