The rail is CNC-machined from 7075-series aluminium alloy. Two finish options are available: anodizing (basic corrosion protection) and Cerakote (enhanced wear resistance, scratch resistance, and durability in harsh conditions).

The gas tube cover is designed for mounting additional equipment on the AK platform. The design allows for secure attachment of optical devices, collimators, flashlights, and other accessories, providing stable fixation and convenient access to control elements.

The product is made from aluminum alloy using CNC milling, ensuring high precision, strength, and low weight. The upper part of the cover features an integrated Picatinny rail, allowing for a wide range of compatible equipment to be mounted.

Two versions of the cover are available: short and solid long.

Design

Short Cover:

The design consists of a body and four supports.

The body is made from solid-milled aluminum alloy, providing high rigidity to the structure. An integrated Picatinny rail with 6 slots is located at the top.

The cover is connected to the supports using countersunk screws, ensuring reliable fixation and a neat appearance.

Solid Long Cover:

In the long version, the supports are integrated into the base of the cover and are an inseparable part of the body, enhancing the overall rigidity and strength of the structure.

The top features grooves for mounting the Picatinny rail:

  • 7 slots at the front
  • 7 slots at the rear

This allows for the placement of various accessories or combining equipment on a single platform.

Both sides allow for the installation of additional Picatinny rails or M-LOK standard accessories, expanding the functionality of the cover and allowing for the installation of:
