Purpose and Application

The Folding Stock Adapter for SVD is designed for installation on civilian and service weapons of the SVD family. The adapter is specifically developed for the SVD platform, ensuring correct geometry, reliable fixation, and preservation of the weapon's standard ergonomics.

Using the folding adapter allows for the installation of modern folding stocks produced by GPN with improved ergonomics (Telescopic, Skeleton).

Design and Features

  • The folding stock hinge has a sturdy and rigid construction designed for intensive use.
  • The adapter's design is optimized for the geometry of the SVD receiver.
  • Allows the stock to fold to the left, reducing the weapon's dimensions during transport.
  • The hinge locks in two positions (operational and folded) using a reliable locking mechanism.
  • The hinge axis features a cup for mounting a quick-detach sling swivel (QD).
  • Adjustable screws are located on the moving part of the hinge to eliminate play.
  • A metal adjustment plate is installed at the bottom of the hinge to secure the stock in the folded position.
