Does it actually reduce sound and flash?
Yes. It reduces the sound of the shot and noticeably suppresses the muzzle flash, tested at night. This is a full-fledged suppressor for AR-15, not a muzzle brake.
Won't it push gas back into the receiver?
Honestly: LEGION has no flow-through system, so excess gas is not vented forward - part of it is received by the shooter in the box, just like with a regular suppressor. Suppressor for AR-15 in caliber 5.56×45. Simple durable line: classic steel baffle construction - durability and serial shooting without unnecessary exotic features.

How it works in metal

LEGION suppresses sound and flash with a classic baffle system. There is no flow-through system here by design: this system redistributes excess gas for the shooter's comfort, and LEGION is made for another job - to suppress, mitigate flash, and maintain pace. Therefore, it does not divert excess gas into the system: overgas is more noticeable than on CASCADE models. This is not a stripped-down flagship, but a deliberately simple design - fewer components, fewer failure points.

Flow-through is handled by CORE and MICRO (CASCADE) and ARCANE (ZERO). LEGION stands for simplicity, durability, and the most accessible price in the line - an entry into the NEMESIS system and a solution when a suppressor is needed for work, not for display.

The steel body with oxidation is made for endurance, not for minimal weight. It holds 6+ magazines in a row.

What the shooter gets

Sound drops to a working level. Flash extinguishes after the first shots. Steel durability for long sessions. Corrosion protection in rain, dirt, and field conditions.
